By Students for Students
The platform specialising in offering material to students from the Autonomous University of Madrid who are studying for a degree in computer engineering.
I, Angel Dal, along with a classmate, after completing the first year of the degree and having lived the whole experience, decided that we could improve this one. Why? It was not always easy to get useful and simple material, something that would allow you to learn quickly and prepare for an exam or a practice (especially in my case, since I also worked full time). There is not always time to read two hundred pages of a calculus book or do the thousand mini tasks of the courses available on KhanAcademy, for example. These are very good, but they are very long when we wanted to get to the point and we had doubts about specific things. We understood the rest of the subject, so it is unnecessary to basically review everything.

Our idea. Our goal is to be able to provide all the necessary material to be able to do the course in a simpler way and without the need to spend so many hours understanding simple or even complex concepts, giving clear explanations focused on the corresponding subject of the course. We are students, we know perfectly well what they are going to demand of you at the university so we can tell you in advance, give you tips, explain things in a less abstract way in certain cases and in a way that is easier to understand. We are also the perfect concentration of all the material (or almost) available, in a single place. You don’t have to ask chatGPT, we already did it for you, discarding the incorrect answers which chatGPT is prone to give, without having to read 400 pages of a book, we already did it, we summarize it for you to the important things and what will be required of you in the course, giving you the material, exercises, exams, etc. in advance, so that you can prepare for the exam knowing 100% what they are going to ask you in it.

Our Method
Focus on clearly understanding the definitions and concepts before anything else, this is essential for us, being able to analyze correctly in order to develop solutions to problems.
It is not about memorizing, there are few things that you will have to memorize during the course, if you want to pass you cannot rely on “the way I solved a previous exercise I will be able to solve the next one” because it will work for very few cases. Our goal is to prepare you for all possible problems and these problems are mostly solved by applying the “tools” obtained during the course, except for exceptions in which the teachers are a little more demanding to get a ten and may go off the syllabus in some specific problem.
Once we have clear definitions in mathematics and physics for example, in turn the algorithms and structures in programming we can then face the problems and practices that will be asked of us, thus, complete them with absolute success.
With the help of Tutor LMS, the support platform used for the courses, along with explanatory images and videos, with homework and exam questionnaires, you will have absolutely everything covered. Everything specific to each subject.
In short, adding “tools” to our “toolbox” and being able to put together a solution with them. Experience will tell us which one to use first without having to take out these “tools” one by one, which can be a bit tedious, but this way you will undoubtedly be totally effective in solving any problem.
